Following our BDM’s recommendation, our supplier has extended the shock and vibration specifications for the rugged series used by the customer. To meet the 4G requirement, the supplier implemented several design changes:

  • Added internal rubber structure to secure the display glass/cell
  • Updated OLB and PCB bonding
  • Modified the internal COF design

The customer has confirmed they will immediately transition to the new C2 version as soon as it becomes available. No NRE costs were charged for these modifications.
