Our well-known customer used a 3rd party to upgrade their 7” display to 1000 nits. When our supplier released a new 7″ high brightness version, we immediately promoted this one and also the standard version with the same mechanics. The customer was happy to get both as a standard from a manufacturer without modification. They now save money in 2 ways:
– They use the same chassis for their marine- and their high-end industrial series
– They add up the quantities and so we got a good package price for them.
