Our customer needed an impact-resistant display with PCAP for outdoor use in rain and snow at a budgetary price. We adapted a suitable TFT (with high volume need for another project) to the application with custom led driver, custom cover glass, tape and EETI controller. During the design phase, our Stefano helped to optimize the entire, noisy customer system / EMI environment to pass the required EMI tests and avoid issues in the field. Two different prototypes were needed.
