The customer was looking for an improved solution for an existing product series featuring a display, cover glass, and lighting system. We replaced the laminated safety glass and achieved the required temperature and UV resistance of -30°C to +80°C without damage. The FPC was modified to fit the existing design, and a lighting system was developed for the keypad, enabling different icons in the same area to be illuminated individually. Finally, the unit successfully passed IK impact testing for the complete front assembly, including the bonded frame.
