After the initial evaluation of two suppliers, we selected the solution that offered the best mechanical fit for the application. The new display will replace the current 4.3″ display, and there was very limited space available within the customer’s mechanics. To meet these requirements, the ST1663i touch controller was chosen to support both the touchscreen and touch buttons. The CTP bonding position was optimized to enable integration into the customer’s cabinet, the double-sided tape area was increased as much as possible to ensure secure fixation, and a dedicated touch button panel was developed on the left side of the glass.
