Our customers love the 7” SimplePlus. Why? Because it’s a great display that gets the job done, balancing cost and performance without cutting corners. So, it wasn’t long before we were asked to make it a little… tougher, for use outdoors. As ever, your wish is our command.
This display is the answer to our customers’ temperature troubles. While the name is the same, the product code and performance capabilities have slightly changed and this new SimplePlus has a whopping -30° to +80°C operating temperature.
To make sure that this new display still offers the same value for money that our customers love, we have set its TFT brightness to 500 cd/m². This allows for good readability in shaded outdoor light, but also creates less heat dissipation and, in turn, greater cost efficiency.
And, of course, it is equipped with touch functionality and has a wide all-round viewing angle. A black bordered coverlens protects the touch sensor and its USB interface. As always, an optional plug-and-play display interface card is also available.

Starting 2007 he worked as a sales and marketing manager for a design and manufacturing company of CCFL and LED backlight drivers, and afterwards established the German branch for a Austrian display and solution provider. In 2013, Frank joined former MSC which in turn was bought by Avnet.
