For this challenging application customer needed a 7″ PCAP panel mount HMI to work in harsh environments like Saudi oil industry. This required IP65 rating for dust and water, stainless-steel corrosion-proof enclosure, outdoor readability, CE, FCC & ROHS certifications and more.
In the end, the customer received a complete, robust, water and dust proof HMI solution at their targeted price and Avnet gained more insight into customer´s engineering and new designs.
