We joined the project exactly when the customer was starting to define the next generation with IoT connectivity. The new display required a better viewing angle, new segments, and improved readability in low-light environments.

The supplier created a fully custom LCD with the same controller IC as the one implemented in the previous product. This significantly simplified the migration effort for the customer’s software team. We then managed to outperform the competition by achieving the target price.
