When the customer’s existing 5” in-cell TFT display reached end-of-life, they needed a drop-in replacement that would fit their slim housing without requiring any hardware or software modifications. Avnet proposed a standard TFT combined with a PCAP touchscreen, and together with our supplier, developed an ultra-slim solution using the same touch driver. The replacement was implemented within a very short timeframe, ensuring a seamless transition and minimizing redesign efforts.
